SMALL SIDED SOCCER

Through our philosophy, programs, coach training and rules, Iowa Soccer strives to help cultivate the best possible playing environment for the player. Our belief is this not only leads to improved soccer, but more importantly to player and coach retention.

From the U06 through the U12 age groups, Iowa Soccer teams play "small-sided" soccer. While soccer is ultimately a game of 11 versus 11, playing 3v3 up to 8v8 is the best way to facilitate a more engaging and fun experience that better develops youth players, and their love of the game.
