The Vision Soccer Academy will be offering SPEED TRAINING. This training will take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The first session begins June 2nd.
Placement will be based on what age group will be played for the upcoming Fall 2009 season! For the younger age group, the participant must turn 9 by July 31st, 2009 in order to take part in the summer session.

RAIN DATE: Tue July 7th – 5-6:00pm U-13 and older; 6-7:00pm U-12 and under
Location: The training will be conducted @ Centennial Park in Waukee, Iowa.
Areas to be covered in the Speed training: 1. ACL Prevention – Strengthening exercises and appropriate stretches. All soccer players, especially females, need to be aware of the risk of sustaining an ACL injury and what steps they can take to prevent such injuries. 2. Core Strength and vertical increase exercises – This will include a variety of exercises to increase strength, balance, and flexibility. Plyometric exercises will be included to improve the production of muscular force and power. 3. Technique and Efficiency of Running – individual feedback and assistance.
