Age Eligibility
VSA Mighty Tike
A first taste of soccer for players who are at least 3 but too young for U5.
What Mighty Tikes Includes:
- 35-minute sessions, 4–6 weeks each season
- Builds motor skills, social skills, and a fundamental relationship with the ball
- Four seasons per year: spring, summer, fall, and two winter sessions
- Led by energetic staff who specialize in first-time players
- Each player receives a Mighty Tikes t-shirt

VSA and Iowa Rush share a vision for the caliber and style of play we want to deliver. Rather than forming a small group of top teams and placing remaining players elsewhere, VSA Rush teams are built across multiple competitive tiers — so every player has an environment that matches their current level and development needs.
- Top players considered first for ECNL and GA teams
- Additional VSA Rush teams formed at multiple competitive tiers
- Every player has a clear path to continue developing within the club

For U13–U19 players who want to stay connected to the game in a fun, social environment.

Recreational FAQ
+Are there tryouts? No — all ability levels welcome.
Are there co-ed teams? Teams are generally all-girl or all-boy (coed). Girls are welcome on boy/coed teams.
How are teams formed? We try to keep teams together from fall to spring, but it's not guaranteed. Late registrations cannot be placed on previous teams. We don't take requests to be placed with a specific player or team, but you can request not to be placed on a previous team.
